2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum Extended Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door Description

My 2017 Tundra is on order. Up for auction is my 2014 Toyota Tundra Platinum Edition. I am the original non smoking owner. The truck is always kept in a heated garage. Some of the features of this truck include a huge backseat that folds-up for carrying tools. The back seat is wide enough to seat 4 skinny guys or 3 fat guys across. The back doors are actually larger then the front doors, take a look at the pictures. The rear window folds down into the body of the truck with a push of a button for carrying extra long items into the cab. I actually transport a 12' wind-board through the back window into the truck bed.

I have upgraded the truck with the Transfer Flow 46 gallon Midship gas tank which allows me a cruising range of over 750+ miles.Here is the link:

I have also upgraded the box with a separation gate that allowing me to stow items without them blowing out of the box. I use the area to stow rolled-up tarps and tie-down straps, see the pictures.

I have also added an “Old Man Step” for easy access in to the bed of the truck with a kick of my foot to drop it down, again see the pictures. I have also included both the summer and winter floor mats, wheel locks and spare tire lock.

The truck does have a couple of stone chips and dings as shown in the pictures. The first week I got the truck I watched ONE stone in slow motion drop off the top of a loaded gravel truck going the opposite direction, cross the median and strike the drivers door THREE times, take a look at that bummer picture. There is also a small stone chip in the windshield up out of the drivers view on the passenger's view, again another bummer picture, the picture looks worse then what it it. The grill behindthe Toyota emblem has a slight crack from a semi tire tread smacked it, one more picture to look at. The engine has not been washed to show there are no oil leaks.

Some of the Platinum features include LED daytime running lights, 20” wheels and tires, body matching painted grill, role down rear cab window, tilt/sliding-moon roof, Navigation Bluetooth Sirius XM Radio JBL Stereo system and diamond tuck upholstery accents through the interior. And of course “Platinum” badging all over the truck.

The Tundras are bullet proof. I buy the exact same truck every 3 years because I have had zero problems with the Tundras. I know what works for me and I do not have time for the problems. I put a picture of my 2011.

Buying from a private party has a sales tax advantage for Illinois buyers. When you buy from a dealer you will pay the tax for the county you live in, in my case Cook county. The tax for Cook county is 8 percent. Which translates to almost another $2,800.00 in sales tax for this truck OMG!!! In the below link is the state of Illinois form for private auto sales. I did also purchase the genuine Toyota warranty for 6 years/125,000 mile which expires on August 2019 that is transferable and valid at any Toyota dealership in the country. Its a lot of truck for the money and you can not get hurt with bumper to bumper Toyota extended warranty.
