1971 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

This auction is for a nice, original Toyota FJ40. I have owned it for about 4 years and during that time have had the engine disassembled and had all the gaskets, clutch, muffler, and motor mounts replaced. I also had the steering box rebuilt as it was leaking and added lap belts to all the seats. The truck was restored by the previous owner approximately 10 years before I purchased it. As part of the restoration he had the interior floor sprayed with bedliner, replaced all the seals in the doors, windows, and roof, and had the rusty areas repaired or replaced. He used it as a showpiece in his car dealership showroom, so it was stored indoors. The truck has not been hacked up in any way and as far as I know is as original as it gets. The odometer shows 47000 miles and I assume it has turned over once since it was new, but neither myself nor the previous owner know for sure. The truck has the 1F engine (not numbers matching), manual steering, 3 speed manual transmission, full length rear troop seats, second fuel tank behind the rear bumper, and the highly desirable rear floor heater. It has a roof rack that is not currently installed but will be included. It also includes the original tools, assorted manuals, and a collection of spare parts. It does have a few small paint bubbles that will need to be looked at, a couple small tears in the seats, and a few deteriorated misc. heater hoses and whatnot that will need to be addressed at some point, but it runs and drives great and is driven regularly. It also does not currently have a windshield washer reservoir installed but it is included.
