2001 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Limited 4-door Description

I bought this truck in 2005 with roughly 35000 milesin San Jose, CA. It went with me to DC, then NJ (was on the east coast for about a year), then to Las Vegas, NV where it has been since 2006, so it has not seen much snow and does not have the salt/rust issues of the east coast vehicles. I have done all services when due, including the timing belt at about 90k miles. It is the TRD model so, though it is not 4WD it IS high clearance with the locking rear diff option. I've had it off-road a few times in it's life and it does just fine in "easy" conditions. It is stock mechanically and the only thing I've ever done is add a Kenwood radio. I have the original radio and that will go with it to the new owner. It also hasa U-Haul tow hitch that was on it when I bought it, and I have towed with it a few times, no problems. The passenger front fender and bumper have a little bit of "rash" on them from one time when I pulled into a garage at a weird angle and caught the edge. The passenger rear fender has a small dent from me backing into a parking bumper. All of these things have been on the truck that way for the last 10 years and have not been a problem. Otherwise, the truck in straight and in the condition expected of a 2001 vehicle... just small door dings and dings on the hood from stones... The windshield was replaced last year because it caught a stone and a crack was growing so I just went ahead and had it replaced. It has been garage kept so everything is in like new condition. Even though it spent the last 10 years in the desert, I spent much of the time using my motorcycle as my daily driver, so the truck was only out in the sun a couple hours a week when I needed it for shopping or passengers. Catalytic converters were replaced in 2013/2014, I forget exactly what year. Also, somewhere in the last few years, hoses and belts were replaced as a cautionary measure.
I have always thought this would be the last vehicle I ever owned but... life has taken me in a new direction and I'm getting a toyhauler so need to get a heavy duty vehicle to tow it with. If it wasn't for that, I would be keeping this baby til the day I die. Feel free to ask any questions. I'm happy to answer. Serious buyers only. And no, I won't take less than9k for it, so don't ask.
