This was Toyotas version of the Porsche Boxter. It's every bit as fun to drive with none of the maintenance pitfalls. Its simplicity makes it not only fun to drive, but also relatively easy to maintain. The combination of a manual transmission paired to a motor wringing out just behind your shoulders is pure bliss. I can't think of a more engaging fun to drive car that can be had for so little investment.
