2006 Toyota Corolla LE Description

2006 Toyota Corolla 1.8 LE automatic. 91,200 miles (Not bad for a ten-year-old vehicle!), and everything works! Power steering, air conditioning, power windows, 6-disc CD player, cruise control, remote central locking. This car has been owned by two people: my aunt and I. She started out with the car until around 2010 when I became the owner of the vehicle. It has been to California and back, but other than that, has lived in the Baltimore area her whole life. This car starts like a bomb every time, and uses 30-37MPG (depending how it is driven). I have done very little to this vehicle, because it is amazing -- they are:
- The accelerator pedal recall.
- Replaced the S belt.
- Brakes were redone some time ago but still have life left in them (40-50%).
- Tires are about 40% left. Those were replaced a while ago but I hardly ever drive this car. The spare tire has never been used.
- Regular oil changes that comes with the standard maintenance. She does not leak.
- This car has no liens on it -- nice clear title.
There is no smoke, nothing broken, and everything on this vehicle works -- all lights and systems are fully functional. It will pass an emissions test anywhere in the world, including in the VW factory. Any issue with this vehicle is cosmetic, being:
- It has bumper acne from living in the city for 8 years.
- There are a few dings here and there but overall the sides are fine.
- The headlamps have a bit of discoloration -- this comes out with some elbow grease.
- There is a privacy compartment in the center console that opens while accelerating. This can be solved by weighing it down with a few coins.
- There was an accident with the vehicle when my aunt owned it -- in the rear area. This will show on the carfax. The repair was amazing, and it cannot be discerned where it was. The accident was nowhere near enough for this car to have a salvage title.
This is an amazing vehicle, and truly honest motoring. She may not be the belle of the ball, but she will be there on time and is reliable as only the Japanese know how. I am selling this car because I don't drive it enough, and I would rather she gets her legs stretched than be stuck on the street.
