Let me make it clear this FJ62 underwent a total mechanical RECONDITION OVERHAUL. The entire running gear has been rebuilt, the motor, the transmission, the transfer case, front and rear axles. New radiator, a/c pump, sensors, hoses, belts ETC.
The suspension was reconditioned, any bad bushings replaced, springs replaced or re-arched. Driveline rebuilt, u-joints where needed, all new shocks and steering stabilizer.
Four brand All-Terrain tires. New muffler
Then let us move onto the interior. Complete new seat covers, complete new carpet throughout with "sound deadening" underlay.
The following is a list of mechanical repairs that were done in the last 1000 miles. The body is in good shape, as well as the paint. The body/paint has a few small dings, some paint chips and two minor rust spots above the rear wheel wells which can be seen in the photos.
I'll try to list every repair I have recently done, but might miss a few things. I spent in excess of $20,000 on the repairs. Owner had no intention of getting rid of the vehicle, but recently had a major life change and the vehicle has to go! The repairs were done by an authorized Land Cruiser service technician in Utah who specializes in FJ62's.
The last thing is to freshen up the outside with a new paint job. However the owner needs to sell the vehicle so painting it will be left up to the new owner. His loss will be your HUGE gain.
Even though the odometer shows high miles, it actually only has a 1000 miles on MAJOR overhaul. The miles were FREEWAY MILES, not off-road miles, just look at the body condition which proves this fact.
