1996 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Description

This 96 Land Cruiser is a hard to find vehicle in this shape and condition. Mechanically speaking, it has been gone through from front to back and has many new parts. I have a list of all work done by my local Toyota Dealer. If you are serious about buying this vehicle, I will be happy to share the maintenance records with you. This Land Cruiser runs great with no issues. Smooth engine and transmission that have all been checked out and properly serviced by my local Toyota Dealer. A/C blows cold and heater works great as well. I have owned the vehicle about a year and have not driven it off road at all. It gets driven around my local area a couple of days a week and that's about it.
I would be keeping this baby but I just got married and already have two other 4WD vehicles (F150 pickup truck and classic 74 Ford Bronco) so I am selling this classic SUV known for its awesome design and extreme durability.
The under carriage has some surface rust in select areas, but my Toyota Dealer service department said that this is completely normal for a vehicle of this age and poses no threat to the vehicle from a structural standpoint. The body of this vehicle is in very good condition with no dents or unsightly marks. The rear door hatch lock does not work, but all other doors lock with the power lock system, or manually if needed for any reason. All windows are power are work perfectly. Power seats work as well. All doors, windows and hatch operate smoothly.
Comes with original owners manual. No tow package on this one, but the owners manual indicates that this model Land Cruiser can tow up to 5,000 pounds with approved tow package in case you would like to consider that option after buying it. Basically, it is powerful vehicle with many capabilities from towing to climbing steep slopes if needed.
If you are familiar with the inline-six model and design in this vehicle, then you know that many experts consider this engine and vehicle to be one of the most reliable ever built.
