1999 TOYOTA SOLARA SLE V6, 2-door Coupe. 112K miles. In good condition with low miles for a 1999. The car was purchased used at a local Lexus dealership around 2002 and it has been in the family ever since. Runs and drives as it should. The car has a lot of life left and would be a great car for someone looking for a reliable low cost car.
My parents were the original owners and it was passed to me when they did not use it anymore. Well maintained with lower miles for the age.Smoke free car.
Has aV6 with an automatic transmission. Drivetrain is in good condition. Starts easily. Shifts fine.
Blue leather interior with power driver seat. Manual passenger seat. No tears in leather but does show wear on front seats. Rear seats ok.
A/C runs cold. Stereo is JBL . Speakers sound ok. CD player works. The plastic trim above the stereo system had separated from the dash due to sun exposure. The piece was removed.
Drivers side window operates ok but closes just high enough to bind in the top of its rubber seat. It will then make a noise when the door is opened. Itmay need to be adjusted.
Alloy wheels with Michelin tires with about 50% wear left. Two sets of keys.
Paint is good all around. Has 2 small dents in the hood and some door marks on the side. The car was involved in 2 cosmetic only accidents. A truck backed into it on the drivers side. Repaired professionally. Some damage occurred to the front bumper when cargo fell out a truck in front of the car. Again repaired well. No damage to any component to effect the drivability or durability of the car.
The dash light for the passenger side airbag flashes. This had been repaired previously but returned. It was the connection to the sensor on the passenger seat. A wire had to be reconnected. The shop said it did not effect airbag operation. It could be repaired or left as-is.
Basically a17 year oldcar that runs and drives well and has lots of life left.
