2000 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Extended Cab Pickup 2-Door Description

Selling my moms 2000 Toyota Tacoma pre runner 2 wd xcab . Here the history on this Toy truck. She bought the truck almost new at the Toyota dealership In Brownwood Texas, The original owner backed out soon after purchased ( needed a larger family suv ) I think it only had 5000 miles or so when she purchased . It has been used by my sister for a to work and back truck for as long as we've owned, and has not been driven much in the last 5 years due to medical issues.
the good - besides Toyata quality !
no wrecks
ac-heat- ( hi i fan hitting some forgien objec, probably dirt dobber ) otherwise works great cold ac all controls working .
new wheels tires (245/75/16 ) balanced and rotated for life of tires
bed liner since new
no rust
nice clear coat paint
interior seats in great shape ( on small tear see in pics ) still has oem. floor mats
non smoker
cruse control working
cd am fm sounds good .
plastic dash and trim not cracked ( was painted with plastic flat black pain, could be better but nothing too bad )
new trans filter and fluid - new radiator- thermostat - coolant sensor -fluid (prestone ) runs cool- gauges in the middle .
never has used any oil. changed frequently. new spark plugs
The bad
will need some major work done in the future ( timing chain, water pumps . ect 228.000 miles way past due )
Shocks and struts are getting a little wea, can upgrade the front with level kit ?
while it's fine no, To be a trustful I would not take it on any long trips until all engine gasket, pumps ( oil, fuel ) are changed by a certified Toyota mechanic. will be a great truck for another 10-15 yrs!

My sister drove most its life until she had medical issues and it has been used very little since 2010. no longer has any use for this one now. First off-Toyota quality built for sure! - new battery, trans filter and fluid. new 245/16 tires on steel toyota oem rims ( painted flat black ) new radiato, thermostat,coolant sensor, anti freeze,
ac -hea, controls working ( high fan speed making noise from something ? ) blows cold and quiet on medium.
paint clear coat in great conditio, has small hail damage on the hood area ( see pic, very small zoom in to see ) has a few scratches and ding, no body or paint work ever done
no rus, wrecks or damag, glass is all excellent ( nice tinted ) interior has one small tear next to the middle 64/40 seat ( fix with needle- thread ) original floor mats and mud flaps !
bed liner since new so bed should be nice .
new spark plugs purrs like a kitten, wires look good did'nt need changing ( may have been changed ) she has had it serviced many times ( oil ect..) I just changed the fuel filter also .
The bad - It has 228.000 miles and has never had any major service done, ( timing chai, water pump, fuel pump ect ). so who knows now long it will hold on?
the shocks and struts are ok but they too will need replacin, I would install a 2'' level kit at that time as well. It sits at a lower front rake . ( better gas mileage I guess) or you could lower it low rider style !
mostly all stock truck that has never had much don, original am fm disc playe, a little weak for my kind of music ( classic roc, 8 track lol )
as-is condition ! priced accordingly.
The reserve price did not work for some reaso, I am in the process of fixing that no, so if i can't revise it I will let it go without one for now. It is very low but I can not give it away because I am not the owner of this Toyota, If it gets close enough I will not worry about it . If there is a problem I will contact Ebay to resolve any issues I have a 100% feedback and try to be as honest as possible but as we all know no one is perfect !
