1990 Toyota Land Cruiser GX Description

For sale is my 1990 FJ62 Landcruiser. If you are looking at it, you know what it is and what it can do. I am the second owner of this workhorse which was garaged in New Jersey and Upstate New York almost all its life. It is a daily driver, so the mileage will change. I am only selling it to finance a couple other projects.
This one has 250k miles, but it is just getting warmed up. Starts everytime--even in the coldest weather. The 3F, fuel injected, straight 6 runs like a top; the transmission shifts smoothly through all four gears; 4x4 works just as it should. 33x10.50 BFG A/Ts. Class A aftermarket tow hitch. I have never gotten it stuck. It will come with an uninstalled Sony Stereo.
The frame has only minor surface rust and appears to have been previously coated with an anti-rust agent. The interior is in good shape for a 27 yr old truck. There are about five rusted spots on the body that I have shown in the pictures: the chrome insignia on the tailgate; the driver's side front fender just behind the wheel well; the passenger's rear fender (the usual spot); and a couple places on the driver's front and rear doors. None of these are tough fixes. Otherwise, the paint is in incredbly good shape.
I have priced the front fender ($550 used and already painted from a place in NH), the back passenger's fender ($400. ready-made patch from Cool Cruisers of Texas), and the other spots are buff-out and repaints. If the truck does not sell, I will fix these issues over the summer.
Look through the listings here. You will see these trucks for twice and three times my Reserve. It does need a little attention, but comparatively speaking, even at my Buy It Now price, this is a steal. The price of these trucks is only going to go up in the future.
