2007 Toyota RAV4 Description

This Toyota was my third: first was a used Corolla wagon (I added 125K to it before I sold it for my second Toyota, a new Xtracab (250k miles before frame rusted out), and now this RAV4. I take care of my cars!
In Dec 2009 bought the RAV4 as a certified vehicle at a Toyota dealer in the metro Boston area. It has:
-- original roof rack (when I kayaked or carried large objects, I put Thule racks on top of the existing roof rack,
-- remote key-less entry, Downhill Assist Control,
-- clear, unbroken head and tail lights (NO moisture and NO cracks),
-- the original AM/FM radio with speakers front and rear,
-- cloth seats, spare tire never used,
-- vent windows and front air spoiler (all clear) that first owner added.
I have averaged at most 7,000 miles per year (public transit should be more available nationwide); your insurance company can verify that easily.
I had hoped this car might be my last. Sadly, I am selling it because
-- my back and neck hurt far too much for driving long distances, (my posture does not allow me much headroom (Reiter's Syndrome);
-- I want to visit several national parks out West this summer with my dog, and
-- I am buying a used Highlander that has lumbar seats, more headroom, and so on. I don't want to be in pain if I meet Smokey the Bear. :-)
The Toyota dealer offered me $7,200 as a wholesale trade-in for the newer 2013 Highlander; I searched Kelley Blue book Thursday night and found one RAV4 2007 (4WD, LTD, 4 cylinders) with 131,134 miles for $9,558. Another 2007 (6 cyl, 4WD, seat heaters) with 24,314 miles at $19,599 in the metro Boston area. Since then I did not see the 131,134 item, but found a RAV with 56,023 for $11,000; thus, the available models change daily for retail and private sellers; I am checking prices every few hours. I answered the KBB questions and found $10,500 as a fair value. Here is part of the link:

I have kept this car in EXCELLENT shape IMHO; I offered the car to a friend I have known for about thirty years; he thanked me but he has a son who is just finishing his first year in college. If you need a reference I will ask him or his wife if it is OK to use either of their names PRIVATELY.
The battery is new as of last fall, the tires are new as of Dec 2014. I have MOST sales slips for everything; e.g. vehicle inspections, tire maintenance, Toyota's safety recalls (two for air bags, one for a stabilizer bar; BTW: Toyota issued another recall, introductory without the date when the car can go to the dealer for a free repair) ... I can email any of these items to you if you wish.
NOTE: I am not a dealer nor am I posing for a dealer! Let me know what else you would like to know; e,g, more pictures, reports. I will send your requests to the email associated with your account.
