1978 Toyota FJ Cruiser Description

Up for sale is a very nice stock unmolested original 1978 Toyota FJ40. From what I know the mileage may or maybe be actual but the second owner I purchased it from believed it to be accurate. This has the popular 2F motor that purrs like a kitten, 4 Speed Transmission that is tight and no bearing noise present. Synchros are perfect up shifting and down shifting, It has had all the fluids changed recently including the gear boxes, a new battery and brakes front and rear. The body is rust free and the vehicle has spent all of its life in California. There has been some repair to the right front fender that needs to be addressed or possibly someone will want to do a complete restoration some day? All the glass is good except a small chip in the windshield, The drivers door will need a regulator at some point the window gear has a bad spot or tooth missing. All the lights work along with wipers, horn and fan. This FJ40 runs down the road great and i haven't hesitated to drive it anywhere. This vehicle has a couple rare options that should be noted, It has a factory installed aux fuel tank, I have a factory rear heater not currently in the vehicle but I have it. At one time Toyota had a complaint about the vehicles becoming vapor locked or hard starting when hot. This FJ40 has a dealer installed cooling fan that blows air on the carb to help with the complaint. I am selling it with a no reserve and would invite any questions. The vehicle is currently in Northern California and I am in the process of moving to the Oregon coast and if a buyer is in the northern west coast I can meet somewhere mid Oregon for a transfer.
