Paint and body are excellent with no rust repair or accident damage ever; all of the factory spot welds remain visible in the tub and a high quality repaint in the correct color was completed about five years ago. Interior is largely original and likewise in excellent condition; we are particularly impressed with the condition of the dash, switchgear and gauges. All rubbers and seals have been renewed.
The owner has invested over $12,000 in service and maintenance over the last four years to ensure that it is in top mechanical condition. This included Old Man Emu suspension, BF Goodrich all-terrain tires, complete cooling system refresh, full tune up, regular fluid changes and A/C service; extensive service records and maintenance log are included as well as the original tool roll.
This FJ40 is nicely detailed topside and bottom and although it's probably too nice to ever take off road, it hits that sweet spot between a really nice driver and an over-restored show truck that you are afraid to take out of the garage. Ready for a tour without excuses and never fails to turn heads. For more information about this 1981 Toyota LandCruiser FJ40 for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250.
