1994 Toyota Land Cruiser Description

.........UPDATE!! Lowered price and all cleaned inside and out. I also installed a brand new rear brake line. (I have the passenger side as well for when it's needed) The truck is actually cleaner now then when I bought it. I used an air hose to blow any extra dirt/dry mud off the chassis and in the wheel wells, plus I used a scrub bush to help remove any leftover buildup from this past Winter and mud season... It's really pretty clean! The inside is extra clean, VERY close to mint. All original! Since I have owned this, I haven't taken it off road but here in Vermont, there are many daily, dirt roads and we also have a fifth season here, MUD season.
.....I have added a few new pictures of the seem along the rear hatch and also the rocker panel on the driver side showing how clean this really is. Usually the rockers and/or the rear hatch would be all rusted out or at least showing signs of rust. This truck is really clean and rust free in the most common areas you'd typically have rust....
....This would make an EXCELLENT trail rig or just simply a daily driver...
.....I have been battling the idea of to sell or keep and making this an even better truck then it already is. I have decided to list it for sale and see what happens. I'm deciding to sell for multiple reasons, none of which have anything to do with the upkeep or upgrading or the great condition the truck is in but, all due to a few major changes in my life since Oct when my dad unexpectedly passed away. With that major life changing "event" comes along many other changes, especially with having a second, part time vehicle and keeping up with both, plus insuring the two. Also I don't have a decent place to work on it along with the appropriate storage At the same time my girl and I are considering relocating South which I wouldn't be bringing this with us!
...I purchased this Land Cruiser this past Summer with roughly 145,750 miles and it needing a few repairs. Some of the repairs were "mentioned" prior to me buying it while others were hidden, or known about and NOT brought up. Simple fix's but ones that I'm not able to do myself without a decent spot to work. Since I bought it I have put brand new M & S tires on (265/75 16 Cooper Discoverer $800 or so) and they're great in the snow or any dirt road you might come across here in lovely Vermont! I also had the exhaust system replaced and a repair done on one of the front pipes, in front of the O2 sensor (roughly $700 in parts and labor). The truck starts perfect every time. The choke adjusts itself as it should and it runs wonderfully, maybe a little rich while the choke adjusts itself but it goes great down the road, highway included! ...So, two things it needs right off are, the rear plate lights do not come on. I replaced the screws for the lenses due to them being rotted in place. Once I was able to get to the bulbs I replaced them. The lights "flickered" on and off and stayed on until I reinstalled the lenses for the bulbs. I was told it's just a grounding issue, "simple fix". The second problem (maybe) is the ABS light is on on the dash. It was on when I bought it and discussed with the previous owner and he said, "his shop put a sticker on regardless" but with me being new to Vermont, I have since learned that garages or shops don't put stickers on vehicles with any lights on on the dash. Again, I've done my research and discussed this a few times with my mechanic back in NH and it has resulted in it just needing the sensors cleaned or just replaced, an inexpensive repair! Also, shortly before I bought it, the owner had replaced the rear brakes (pads and rotors) not including reconnecting the E brake but, I never use an E brake anyways so it hasn't really been an issue for me. It's just the cable along the rear axle needing to connect back up. Everything works as it should, brakes, lights, wipers (front and rear) 3rd brake light, sunroof, power locks and power windows, the horn, the heat blasts, (AC needs a charge but, blows cold). The rear hatch works great, both, upper and lower NO rust along the seams!! VERY rare to have no rust in that area along the lower gate. I replaced the shocks for the upper rear hatch. The hood does need new shocks installed which I have but not installed. I also have a brand new set of pads and rotors for the front (about $175) since the previous owner seemed to think they needed replacing. The inside is super clean cloth. The carpet is really clean as well. I have a few other extra parts that came with it when I bought it and I have purchased a few that still need installing.
...This is your typical LC with the fold up, 3rd row seats, all three rows are very clean with no rips or tears. ...This is a rugged, strong solid ride with many years of use left. Another repair it needs are the birfields, specifically the driver side but, I would do both. You can buy them aftermarket all over! Aslo,I have the front wheel bearing sets and oil seals for when the birfields get replaced (roughly $100 for the set).As far as the body goes, there are only two lightly rusted spots on the lower driver door and the side/back door as well. nothing major, just surface rust about 6 or so inches in length, not bad, and still very solid! A quick sanding and I would just use rattle can bed liner paint, it's basically indestructible. A simple fix! There are three dime size surface rust spots near the rear plate on the rear tailgate, another simple fix! This truck is considered VERY clean for being a vehicle from the North East.
...I have the original window sticker from when this was ordered new back in '94 listing the extra packages and options. This was a $41,500 truck! I also have the original owners manual. Speaking of which, it came with the towing package, which also includes an ECT button on the dash for when you do need to tow something, a factory center locking differential, Power sunroof that also has the tilting option and the wind visor mounted on the roof. A factory roof rack, electric mirrors, O/D, tilt, cruise control, a power antenna that is stuck part way down, am/fm radio with CD and cassette and 9 factory speakers!! It also it has an after market remote starter that I haven't used and needs to be reconnected to the battery if you want to use it. This truck originally came with the side steps or running boards that were removed from the previous owner. There are areas on the frame that still has factory paint, you would never know this truck is going on 22 years old by looking at it and with the mileage it adds up to only about 6,800 miles a year which is really low for most Land Cruisers or most other cars. I am the fourth owner and I really wish I could hold onto this and have a little fun. It still turns heads and I get asked questions when I'm out running to the store most times, pretty neat really. It's lots of fun to drive, even if it is just around town....

Make a fair and reasonable offer...
