2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2WD *ONLY 97k Miles!!!* BEAUTIFUL!
2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Description
I have a beautiful dealership maintained 2002 Toyota 4Runner. This one is not for the buyer comparing this to a KBB report and looking for a "cheap" daily driver SUV to beat up everyday.
There are of course plenty of similar year4Runners going for the low low price of$4k but with significant (or questionable)body damage or repair, higher mileage and wear/tear on the mechanics and interior.. being that these are still Toyota's, thesewill easily and reliably get you from A to B for a very good price. If you want something in better shape and really appreciate the look and feel of this legendary model, then this is the one for you. You will be hard pressed to find one in this condition and with justunder 100,000 in mileage. I myselfhappilypurchased this at a premium knowing I could find others for much less because I valued the condition and heritage of itand I'm hoping the future owner of this will buy for the same reason. Call me foolish but that is just the way I am. This might also indicate the type of care and love this vehicle received from me, the 2nd owner.
Again, this is for the person who loves the legendary 3rd generation model. In my opinion, this is the most handsome "classic" Toyota 4Runner ever made and if you are looking at this post, you probably feel the same way. The 2002 was the last of the series. There are VERY FEW, if any, models left with under 100,000 miles on the odometer. You should know that with this motor, its just getting warmed up. With proper maintenance these will run well into the 500,000 mile range with ease.
Things to note about this 4Runner:
- 2002, 2WD, tow package, factory sunroof, Alpine CD player, Viper Remote Start Alarm with 2-way pager remote (2 remotes and 2 door keys included), also - Push Button Ignition. This vehicle has been converted to use Push Button Ignition and no longer requires a key for ignition. Please message me for details and a video of its function. Tires have plenty of tread. Pictures are recent! Mileage may increase a tiny bit but this is not our daily driver and will be carefully cared for until sold. This has always lived in Texas. Never been off-roaded! There is no rust and has never been flooded! Factory jack is untouched and in place. The factory mats are in good condition and not too soiled. Rubber weather mat in the back. Rear tonneau pull out cover is included but not pictured. Everything works as it should! Timing belt has recently been changed. Major tuneup completed. A/C blows cold, heater blows heat. Mechanically, this thing is a beast. Very reliable, solid 750RPM idle, smooth transmission shifts, no squeaks, no weird sounds. This car is awesome!
- The bad:There are no rips or tears in the seats, no dents in the body panels or bumpers BUTthis is certainly not "perfect". It does show very minor wear for its age such as chips or small scratches in the paint. The bad one is on the right passenger side on the fender flare. The detailer buffed it a little too hard here. Some of the plastic has faded just slightly. I have many pictures and I urge you to view them and be comfortable before bidding. Hiring your own mechanic to evaluate the vehicle before purchasing is encouraged.
Message me for a link to all of the pictures! If you need any other pictures, please feel free to ask and I'll get them to you. This is all that I can think of at the moment but if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. Also, I have a Carfax if you want to see it.
Vehicle sold as-is with no implied warranty. Buyer arranges all shipping and I will do my best to accommodate any way I can. Payment to be received in full before shipping. Non-refundable deposit of $500 will be required at end of auction. Vehicle is also being sold locally and this listing may end at any time if sold locally.
PLEASE, ONLY BID IF HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY.
Thank you for looking!
