Hello, I have for sale a 2001 Toyota Tacoma as shown. It was a work truck for a company I worked for for 2009-2014 then purchased in 2014. I have been driving this truck probably about the last 50k miles with little to no problems.I closed the company last December ( note remains of vinyl decals on doors- it somewhat comes off with heavy scrubbing) . The DMV informed me when I transferred it from company to my name I needed to get a smog check. The problem with this is that the check engine light is on- it has been for some time.I ran the check engine codes with my code reader- see pics. The codes detected are cylinder 1 misfire and multiple/ random cylinder misfire . It does run/ idle rough and I was thinking it could use a tuneup anyways so I had my mobile mechanic friend come over. He informed it will need a valve job, which will solve the problem. The vehicle will NOT come with a smog certificate, factor the cost of that and a valve job/ remand factored cylinder head into your bid.I am an a position where I need money for bills now and have another truck already, which is why I haven't driven this one a whole lot lately. So I have decided to sell it how it sits. It runs and drives well, although it is only getting 17-18 mpg now instead of the low 20 mpg it should.Mechanically it is turn key ready to drive to wherever you need it to go, factor in the cost of a valve job and place your bid. I installed a new Optima red top battery on Jan 2017. It shows 227,007 right now, I probably will drive it to work this week ( about 30 miles each way, mileage will be a little more than in photos). Title ( from the company I owned along with the copy of abandonment of fictitious business statement and paperwork required for DMV- I was just there to make sure what I needed to transfer 4/14/17) is in hand. Registration is current through November.Cosmetically it's a work truck, please see photos. If you want to see any particular spots on truck let me know. AC blows cold, tires are ok but not great. It was rear ended sometime before I got it and there was no bumper, and note damage to tailgate. I built and installed the bumper that's on it and tailgate functions ok, it's just dented ( badly). Also the passenger outside door handle is broken but I have a new one in the box which will come with, it isn't that hard to change I changed the driver side before ( I live at 4000 feet and sometimes the door freezes shut).Terms will be cash before the vehicle or title leave my possession. If you want to send a transport truck that's fine as long as cash changes hands before it leaves.Also, this truck is now surplus to me, and I'm needing money for other expenses, if the reserve is not met but it ends up fairly close, I'll probably send a second chance offer through eBay to high bidder at their bid price.Any questions, just ask.Thank you for looking, happy bidding.
