So I'm taking one shot at getting out of this really cool truck before I take on another project. This is a very special barn find type vehicle with a storied past out west. So let me tell you about the truck I'm selling here. This is a 1972 Toyota FJ40 if your looking at this ad you know what they are and what they cost and that they get rusty or really rusty and we'll get to all that but the good stuff first. This truck was owned by a real FJ enthusiast as evidenced by the many placards still affixed to the interior from the late 70s and early 80s. This truck was modified for serious use it sports a chevy 350 and th400 trans chevy tilt power steering column,huge ford 9 inch heavy duty front axle with Warn hubs. It has a huge Warn winch on the front bumper. Its got a great overhead console with period stuff gauges map lite CB etc.Don't miss understand this truck needs a good going thru and its beenwell usedbut it runs and drives strongand with a little maintenance its ready for any beating you can hand out. Its a complete running driving special barnfind type vehicle it comes with a complete set of jump seats which were often lost or tossed they will need re-upholstery. Now as for the rust, they all have it. The rust is bad but could be worst. The frame, front floors and structure are all good and solid. It will need rockers and quarters and the very rear of the floor and wheel wells this is where they all rust HOWEVERthe truck comes with a set of rockers and quarters.
