1998 TOYOTA TACOM, 4X4, SR5 MODEL.....7 WEEKS AGO TODAY THE FRONT CYLINDER DEVELOPED A LEAKING HEAD GASKET, SIMPLY STARTED THE TRUCK ON OUR PROPERTY AD HAS NOT MOVED SINCE THAT TIME, BUYER WILL ASSUME THE REPAIR RESPONSIBILITY....1998 TOYOTA TACOM, .....2ND OWNER 8.5 YRS.....NON SMOKER/DRINKER.... 4 CYLINDER, 2.7 LITER MOTOR, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, EXTENDED CAB, MATCHING LEER FIBERGLASS TRUCK CAP, AM/FM CASSETTE, CURRENT INSPECTION EXPIRES 4/30/17, TOWING PACKAGE, 184,000 MILES,AFTER WINNING BID, WE WILL MEET THE BUYER AT OUR LOCAL BANK FOR A DIRECT CASH PAYMENT INFULL TO US THE SELLER, WE WILL DEPOSIT MONEY FROM SALE IN BANK, NEXT NOTARY TITLE WORK, NEXT DRIVE TO LOCATION OF TRUCK FOR BUYER TO RECEIVE AND TOW AWAY....AFTER WINNING BID, WE WILL MEET THE BUYER AT OUR LOCAL BANK FOR A DIRECT CASH PAYMENT IN FULL TO US THE SELLER, WE WILL DEPOSIT MONEY FROM SALE IN BANK, NEXT NOTARY TITLE WORK, NEXT DRIVE TO LOCATION OF TRUCK FOR BUYER TO RECEIVE AND TOWAWAY....FYI BAD HEAD GASKET UPDATE REPORT!!!::::::ON SATURDAY MARCH 18, 2017 WE STARTED THE TRUCK AT 2:00 PM, IN OUR DRIVEWAY AND AT THAT TIME THE HEAD GASKET WAS BAD AND APPEARED TO HAPPEN IN OUR DRIVEWAY AND WAS NEVER TOWED FROM THE INCIDENT AND HAS NOT LEFT OUR DRIVEWAY SINCE THAT DAY, ON MARCH, 18, 2017, AND HAS BEEN PARKED........Two years in April 2015 the truck frame on this tacoma in a few areas had rust that would not pass inspection. we hired a mobile welder to remove the cap, truck bed, gas tank, etc. we then had those rusty areas grinded and welded steel plate over those areas, we have not done any inspection to this frame for this auction, however a quick visual on the left outside frame shackle some rust will need attention.......FYI engine gasket update info...!!!!!this truck diagnosis about the bad head gasket, was from a local garage, but until the engine head is removed from the engine block, were not 100 percent about the head gasket diagnosis? its the sole responsibility of the winning bidder to take this diagnosis further and make the final repair.....and feel that april 2017 inspection will be needed in 1 month from now, and that will be the winning bidder/buyers responsibilty from here out, and we the seller will have no responsibility for any frame rust whatsoever after this auction closes, in a quick visual the frame looks passable again for inspection pa. 2017, please see partial frame pics where welding was performed in 2015, last 2 photos in listing..... but in fact that resbonsibility will be the sole responsibility of the winning bidder/buyer of this auction......NOTE: ALTHOUGH THIS ENGINE DOES START WITH 1 SPARK PLUG REMOVED FROM CYLINDER, THIS TRUCK IS UNSAFE FOR ENGINE TO DRIVE WITH BLOWN HEAD GASKET, AND WILL CAUSE MORE ENGINE DAMAGE IF TRUCK IS DRIVEN AT THIS TIME, TO BE IN THE TRUCKS BEST INTEREST, THE BUYER MUST TOW THIS VEHICLE FROM OUR PROPERTY AFTER TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE.....tailgate has a mechanical defect.....air conditioner is due to be charged up and may need some attention?.....leer crown truck cap door latch has a defect...steel alloy wheels....spare tire/rim......minor rear fenders rust, and rear bumper.....truck has a current inspection good through april 2017.....THIS 1998 TOYOTA TACOMA, IS BEING SOLD "AS IS CONDITION" AND COMES WITHOUT A WARRANTY, THE BUYER WILL ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBLITY AT THE TIME OF PURCHASING THIS 1998 TOYOTA TACOMA..at 185000 miles and 19 yrs old this tacoma has some imperfections that the buyer will be 100 percent responsible for and seller will be free and clear of 100 percent at the time of the title exchange to the new owner of this tacoma on....FRAME UPDATE::: IN A QUICK OUTSIDE VISUAL LOOK ON THE FRAME IT DOES NOW APPEAR THAT SOME WELDING MAY BE NEEDED AROUND PASSENGER SIDE REAR SPRING FRONT SHACKLEAREA.....PAYMENT DETAILS:IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PURCHASE DO NOT BID.THERE WILL BE ANON REFUNDABLE $500.00 PAYPAL DEPOSIT AT THE CLOSE OF AUCTION WITHIN 5 HRS, THE REMAINDER WILL NEED TO BE PAID IN CASH AT THE TIME OF PICKUP AND WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER CLOSE OF SALE.
