1983 Toyota HILUX 24D Description

1983 Toyota diesel pickup, 2.4 liter, L engine, runs OK, hasn't been driven in ten years, located in Lubbock, Texas, five speed, very little rust, has A/C, 281,000 miles, would be good to convert to veggie or bio-diesel, stock fuel filter is missing, was replaced with cheap in-line filter, needs clutch master cylinder rebuilt, but can be driven onto a trailer or tow dolly now. Engine was wet, since I just hosed the dirt off it, no radiator leaks, good green coolant, air filter is very clean, right side of dash has large cracks. Yes, it's rough, but would make a good project vehicle, as it just needs little fixes, here and there. Almost no rust, only a couple of spots in the bed, and small spots on the cab. No spare tire, left rear fender was damaged when a tire blew out, as it was being pulled on a tow dolly, rear fender is touching bottom rocker panel on both sides, dent on left side of front bumper, windshield is OK, but missing some of the beauty trim (black silicone showing), aftermarket paint is peeling off left front fender. Buyer must pick up at it's present location, in Lubbock, Texas (no insurance or tag - I'm not going to drive it anywhere!). Clear title, ready to transfer. Only one ignition key.
