Every part carefully disassembled, every nut and bolt was removed and sandblasted, engine was completely disassembled and overhauled.

This is a true gem… This 1964 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 was restored in Costa Rica. It was a low mileage rust-free car to begin with, but the restoration has brought it up to the highest standards of originality and appearance in Costa Rica. It is a 4-wheel Drive vehicle with its original F 3.8-liter inline six cylinder engine, original three-speed manual transmission (reemplaced for 4 speed) and transfer case, all of which have been rebuilt. The engine has been fitted with a Weber carburetor and DUI distributor for increased reliability. This vehicle is equipped with folding rear jump seats, a new vinyl interior (peach color). Currently located in Costa Rica.
