INTRODUCTION:::

You are bidding on a 1972 Toyota Carina with a 1.6L engine,5-speed transmission and 88502 miles. Toyota only imported theCarina to the USA forone year, sothe Carina is a very rare Toyota and is extremely hard to find because so few of them were madeand only a small portion of them werethe two door coupes like this one.This particular Carina is still in very good used original condition with fairly low miles. But please feel free to read more about the specifics of this car and look at the pictures for verification. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. U.S. and International bidders are welcome to bid on this car but must arrange shipping themselves...

BODY:::

The paint on the car is still original and in good shape with someminor dings here and there. All of the chrome is in perfect condition with no rust pitting; all the chrome bumpers and trim are nice and straight with no dents. The front fenders do have a lot of small dents around the wheel wells, asit looks likethe snow chains might of snappedat one point and dinged up the front fenders in my opinion, and there is also a crease in the passenger door. It is very unfortunate because the rest of the body is nice and straight, . The engine compartment and the trunk is in great shape with no rust holes anywhere. The only major rust spot on the car is on the bottom of the rear window drivers side corner, as shown in one of my pictures. The under carriage is nice and straight with only minimal surface rust. This was original a California car so the body has almost no rust anywhere.

INTERIOR:::

The interior of the car is in very good original condition. The front and rear seats are in perfect condition; there are absolutely no rips anywhere on the seats. The Dash pad does have a crack but they do sell replacements so it could be fixed. The dash panel and door panels are in good shape with no cracks. All of the lights on the dash light up and all instruments including the radio work as they should. The AC does not work, all of the components for the AC system are connected, but I have never tried to recharge the AC so it might just need to be recharged but not sure. The headliner is in great shape with no rips anywhere. Basically the interior is in very good original condition for its age.

MECHANICAL:::

The engine is in good running condition, and the 5 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth. The clutch was replaced one year ago andI have recently done a full tune up on the vehicle. Brand new tires.Brand new front brake lines and all brake fluid was flushed, new points, new distributor cap, new sparkplugs, new sparkplug wires, oil change recently, new air filter, new front brake pads. All the electrical components work as they should. Basically the car is ready to drive reliably.

CONCLUSION:::

This is a great opportunity to buy a rare, all original 1972 Toyota Carina. International buyers please keep in mind that there are some small variations in original parts in different countries; thisToyota Carinais a USAmarket original specifications edition. If you need any additional pictures or have any additional questions please feel free to email us. Domestic & International buyers are welcome to bid but have to arrange the shipping themselves; however we will be glad to help with any loading of the car.We have assisted in shipping motorcycles and cars overseas for other customers in the past.
