2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Description

2007 w/ 23,000 Original miles

Condition/Info: Truck is in trail ready and built to go. This has been the Metal-tech 4x4 poster child and FJ Cruiser test base since 2007. Professionally owned, driven and used. Extremely low miles. Toyota replaced the transmission 10K miles ago under warranty with a brand new one. Suspension has been tuned and balanced with desert racing Total Chaos Long Travel in the front. The rear suspension is custom built rear 3 link long arm suspension with Currie Johnny joints. Lower links are about 10" longer than stock, upper mono link comes off the left frame to a custom center tower on the rear axle. The squat and anti-squat is tuned and was computer designed prior to installation.ICON Vehicle Dynamics custom built and tuned the six 2.5" Remote Reservoir shocks.

In June of 2014 we had the truck professionally repainted with PPG paint on all orange and show ready. The T308 Toyota orange color is original 1972 retro Land cruiser orange. Matching the performance suspension is the purpose built drivetrain featuring the Atlas 4 Speed transfer case with 10.34:1 low gear features a custom built three mechanical shifter controls all properly located in the front of the center console. 4.88:1 Nitro Gear gears in the front and rear along with an ARB air locker in the front with a stand-alone ARB onboard air compressor. Rear locker is the OE Toyota E-locker. Armor on the truck is the full Metal-tech 4x4 complement from the front Tube Bumper with a Warn 9.5 XP winch with synthetic rope. Rear bumper is the full Metal-tech 4x4 Red Eye system w/ fuel can racks and fuel cans. Off road lights front and rear are all Rigid Industries. No lights are wired at this time. (we pull bumpers off and on too much to keep wired) Interior of the truck features custom made PRP suspension racing seats on custom Metal-tech 4x4 adaptors mounting the seats on the OEM rails. This truck has been on covers of magazines, ads, 3 SEMA shows and a first place finisher in car shows.

Never had a roof rack on it, never had a snorkel on it. Engine has been left alone, no chips no cold air intakes just stock since day one for reliability. Runs and drives outstanding.

Known conditions:

Dent in the white right above the driver's door. Paint not effected. (see photo)

·Few Broken bolt heads on beadlocks. Common popped bolt heads on some of the bead locks.

·The Atlas t-case at times can have an output vibration in it at coast. Advanced Adaptors who makes the Atlas 4 says the case is performing correctly. It is a 100% gear driven case so it has a different sound than stock. The shifter for the Atlas to go into low gear can be difficult to engage. It does engage, but takes effort. This can be rectified by adjusting the cable. The case is a great tool and the fact the truck has been modified to use it is outstanding. (This truck can go back to stock anytime) With the known vibration noise from the case, we debated about just installing the stock t-case and selling the $5000+ Atlas/mounts/shifters and custom built for the FJC shifter mounts separately. (worth more out of the truck) However do not have the time to pull. The truck drives and runs as it is now; this is just a known condition.
