2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Description

Selling my 2000 Toyota 4runner SR5 AWD 3.4 V6 (Desert Dune paint).
History of the vehicleI spent a few months looking for a low mileage, well-kept 4runner and purchased this car at the turn of the year 1/2017. The Carfax shows five owners, but it is due to the 1st owner registering the car between his moves between California/Arizona (and subsequently registering the car in his son's name as well!). Previous owner (1st owner) only had Carfax documentation that the timing belt had been changed a few years ago, but did not keep general maintenance records, and after speaking back and forth and having the car inspected everything checked out fine.
Once in my possession I had replaced the spark plugs (NGK), Wires (NGK TE66), fuel filter (OEM), cleaned the throttle body/mass flow air sensor, and changed out a few rubber intake parts that were starting to crack. Everything ran smoothly for 3K miles until my engine overheated due to a tiny leak in the corner of the radiator. Local import specialist identified a cracked head gasket and showed the heads needing a full replacement (not refurbishing). After $3.5K of parts/labor the following items have been replaced:
1. New machined heads2. New knock sensors (x2)3. New Thermostat4. New Water pump5. New head gasket w/updated design6. New Timing Belt7. New drive belts8. New pulleys (I think 3 were replaced)9. New spark plugs (again)10. Fresh oil change11. Transmission oil change
This is set to go another 250K with routine maintenance.
Body conditionThe body is in decent to good condition considering 16 years in the desert. I have tried to show as much as possible through the pictures. The car has it's share of paint chips on the hood (black dots in the photos), and some dings around the body but from 10' out it's hard to tell. It may be hard to see in the photos but the finish on the 16" wheels is starting to fade/cracking; tires have about 45% tread left. The roof bars
Interior conditionWith a deep steam cleaning I think the interior would look quite refreshed. The driver's seat has a tear in the fabric (common for this seat), and I haven't found any others in the cabin. All interior lights work, and the stereo was updated with a pioneer head unit with a bluetooth integrated microphone. There are two accessory outlets beneath the coin drawer that do not work (I think it needs a new fuse).
Mechanical conditionCar runs smooth as it should and is straight. Everything with the car is stock.
Reason For SaleMy family (of 2) decided we need to downsize and we're in the process of clearing out as much "stuff" as possible.
Other detailsI'd prefer to sell this to a local buyer, but am open to shipping the car if you're a serious buyer. If you "buy it now" I will throw in a set of OEM 16" TRD Bronze Beadlock wheels with 265/75/15 BFG KO2 A/T wheels (2 tires have 70% tread/2 tires are new).

An interested buyer asked me if there was anything I would want to change if I was keeping the car and I was reminded that the rear-wiper does not work well. The motor initiates, then it stops. If it snows/rains in your region often you may want to have this replaced, but I live in Southern California and it hasn't been an issue (even in the last monster rain storm we had a few months back).
Another question that's been posed: is this vehicle safe and reliable? The car needs minimal maintenance and many drivers have gotten their 3rd gen 4runners to 250K. Check outhttp://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/ for the huge community of 4runner drivers. If you'd like to pay for a third party inspection of the vehicle I can recommend one of the many highly-rated Japanese import mechanics that are close by.

Clean title, in-hand! The radiator was also replaced with a NEW radiator. Full coolant flush with Zerex RED (675130).
