1984 Toyota Camry LE Description

This 1984 Toyota Camry Liftback is a rare one and it only has 53,900 miles on it! It's loaded with factory options, including: $650 for the "power package" which included power windows, locks, mirrors, and cruise control", $500 for an "electric sunroof", the $480 "audio system upgrade" which included the cassette player, amp, and equalizer, $195 for the "two-tone paint package upgrade", which included two-tone exterior paint, bronze tinted glass upgrade, and pin striping. The original owner also paid $675 for AC, $595 for the "consumer protection plan" which included lusterizing sealant, textile and vinyl sealant, sound shield, rustproofing shield, and motor club. $195 was spent on "prevent-a-theft", $55 for carpeted floor mats, $170 for a full-sized spare tire, and $445 for aluminum wheels. The car sold for $15,033 in 1984 which would be around $35,380 in 2017 dollars! It was quite a car in its day, and it still is. As you can see, there is NO RUST on this car, top or bottom. It even has the original tool kit, jack, and owner's manual.
The interior is in fantastic condition other than a few little drop-like stains on the carpet in a few spots. The paint on the right front bumper was scratched during shipping when I got the car but I haven't had it painted. There is also a little crease below the trim on the right rear passenger door as seen in the photos. They should both be fairly easy repairs. The engine is the cleanest that I've ever seen and it runs great, it's really a smooth, quiet cruiser, especially when the overdrive kicks in. There is a button on the shifter to disengage the overdrive for around town, if needed, and there are also "power and economy" buttons on the console. This could be the nicest one left in the US, I haven't seen too many liftback Camrys, in general, and certainly none this nice or this loaded with factory options. Please ask any questions and I'll try to answer them the best that I can. I have a clean and clear title for this car and there are no liens on it.
Shipping is not included, of course, but I will help coordinate the pickup of this car with the shipper of your choice to get it to you as soon as it's paid for. A $500 deposit is payable within 48 hours after the close of the auction and the balance is due in 7 days. If this gorgeous Camry is sold locally the auction could end early.
