This truck is original. Everything is original! It almost looks like it came off the assembly line 3 years ago.
This truck was literally owned by a little old lady (90 years old)who seldom drove it. 53,100 ACTUAL MILES! It was garaged or carported its entire life. The reason it is being sold is the original owner is now deceased. And because it is a classic truck in pristine condition, it deserves to be owned by someone who will love and care for it.
Look at the photos. You won't find a Toyota of this vintage in more pristine condition. And it has NOT BEEN RESTORED. It looks this good because it was loved its entire life.
My LIMITED understanding is this truck was available with either the Japanese bed or the American bed. This truck has the American bed, to the best of my knowledge. Please verify from the photos. Feel free to correct me if I'm in error using the "Ask Seller a Question" feature.
The truck bed is HUGE. It has a 6 FOOT LONG BED!
Known issues: (1) The A/C is not cooling. The compressor runs, but no cooling. Could be just low Freon. (2) The driver's side rear quarter panel (bed panel) has been repainted just to the rear of the rear wheelwell. You can see it isn't as glossy as the rest and there is one small run in in the paint. Itwas the result of a parking lot fender bender. (3) The air dam (low panel under the front bumper) has the typical dents on the passenger sidefrom hitting the curb during angle parking. (4) The owner's manual is missing. (5) It has typical chips and scratches in the paint. But there is NOT a rusting problem. (6) The front end has creaking/screeching sounds during driving. Believed to be related to the front suspension system.
This truck has had regular oil changes and an occasional tune-up, but very little other repairs. The A/C was worked on extensively about a decade ago. In other words, you should expect typical 30 year old truck maintenance issues to be present.
THE TRUCK RUNS QUITE WELL, even though it has not been driven much in the past 5 years.
