1970 Toyota Hilux Pickup Tacoma Clean Title Mini Truck 4 spd Manual JDM RN10
1970 Toyota Other Description
-1970 toyota hilux
-4 speed manual
-Clean title-Arizona truck through and through-mileage is believed to be 148000 with one rollover
-Very clean body and frame, some small dings and had a fender bender (drivers front as seen in pics, adds character). The frame is rock solid! the body is 99% rust free with one small (nickel sized hole on the lower driver side fender)
-Weber 32/36 that has just been rebuilt and electronic choke.
-8rc engine that has definitely been rebuilt at some point just no documentation of such, runs smooth! Starts right up every time! Does not leak anything, does not burn any oil between changes.
-For a almost 50 year old truck it's great, reliable and daily driveable in its current state, could definitely use some love though. The disc brake swap would make miles of difference as the drums grab a little inconsistently and aggressively as drums do.
-Interior is in good shape with most everything there, bench was reupholstered at some point and looks nice. All gauges work when headlights are on, if not they don't for some reason. was planning on redoing the wiring because it is very simple on this truck and would give me more peaceof mind but never got around to it.
-Lowered 3" on slanted blocks and isuzu front springs and 65-67 camaro shocks (shocks could use replacing)
-I will include 78 pickup front disc swap knuckles calipers and rotors (you will need new ball joints and tie rods to do the swap)
-Sitting on OZ Alleggerita HLT 17x7.5 wheels and good tires (14lb wheels $1000 wheelset alone)
-These are getting very hard to find especially in rust free running condition
If you are looking at this and made it this far you probably are aware of how rare these trucks are getting and that this is the only one on ebay and one of only a few for sale in the US, here's your chance to own a true piece of Toyota History!
Pick-up only in Flagstaff, AZ unless you arrange otherwise with me first. If you are far away best plan would be to bring a trailer since it's not the most highwayable vehicle around but it's up to you ( I have towed it on a dolly before, just tied the driveshaft up off the rear axle and it did fine)
Get yourself a badass little truck!
