1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40.

Hi everyone. Up for sale is a 1975 FJ40. This is the first year of the FJ40 where Toyota went to disc brakes, ambulance doors, 4-speed transmission, instrument panel changes, seat belt changes, door changes, etc. What a fabulous year FJ40 to own. This vehicle has a clean title and is ready to move quickly. I restored this cruiser with my father who has restored many FJ40's and a few early Bronco's. He wanted me to list this vehicle under my eBay account since I did most of the restoration.

It has undergone a full restoration including stainless steel hardware. We wouldn't claim that this is a professional restoration but we've restored a few of these FJ40's and it's a beautiful job.

Here are some key points:

History: This FJ40 was in great shape before we began any restoration work. We bought this from the second owner who said he had this vehicle for the past 20 years. All body panels were rust free with minimal surface rust. The body was completely broken down, sand blasted, sealed, primed, had professional body work and then professionally painted in Toyota T-309.

Upholstery / Interior: The front seats were professionally upholstered. The jump seats are original with minor blemishes. The floor mats are from Cruiser Corps. The headliner is from SOR. Dash cover from SOR. Brand new seats belts from Cool Cruisers - front and back. Hippo liner interior. This is colorized bed liner that is durable and rust preventative. Brand new front door panels and the guts on the doors are either serviced or new, new felt, weatherstripping, upper felt, etc.

Drive train / tires: This FJ40 has the original 6-Cyl that is firing on 135-140 for each cylinder. Brakes are excellent including the e-brake. Original 4-speed transmission and original transfer case. The rims and tires have less than 100 miles. BFG MT 33x10.50 15.

Electrical: We've gone through the entire vehicle. All dash gauges working as are every light on the vehicle.

Undercarriage / suspension: Rubberized undercarriage with original springs. Shackles and bushings are new from Cool Cruisers. Hell 4 Stout shocks and front steering stabilizer from Cool Cruisers.

Service: This vehicle has had the fluids changes, timing checked, cylinders tested. This baby runs like a swiss watch. There's really to much to list and we feel like if there were any parts that needed to be replaced we spent the money.

Conditions for the Sale: We require $1000 deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction. Once we confirm the deposit we will overnight the title to you. Once you receive the title you have 5 days to pay the balance of the funds. We accept wire transfer, cashiers check, cash, payment in person. You're welcome and encouraged to inspect this vehicle in person. Vehicle is sold as-is with no expressed or implied warranties.
