For sale is a rare manual transmission (making it a full-time 4x4 drive) FJ Cruiser TTUE. Only 2,500 were made out of which I believe less than 20% were manual transmission.
With the announcement of 2014 being the last year the FJ Cruiser would be produced (for the US market), Toyota decided to end the FJ Cruiser legacy with a bang thus creating the Trail Teams Ultimate Edition. The TTUE was released in a unique Heritage Blue color reminiscent of the classic FJ40 Land Cruiser factory blue color to which the FJ pays much of its design cues from. The body color was monochromatic as with all TTs rather than having the traditional white roof, and the bumpers, mirrors, and door handles were again blacked out. However to add uniqueness to this Ultimate Edition, Toyota painted the front grill bezel white, again paying homage to the classic FJ40 Land Cruiser which had a white grill bezel.
Trail Teams Ultimate Edition Package includes:Heritage Blue exterior color including roof top; roofrack; white grille, rock rails; TRD Ultimate Edition Bilstein® shock absorbers to increase articulation and provide added high-speed stability for off-road terrain, 1/4 inch thick TRD Aluminum SkidPlate to provide maximum protection while retaining maximum approach angle clearance, electronically controlled locking rear differential, Active Traction Control (A-TRAC),remote keyless entry system, gray fabric seat inserts, floating-ball Multi-InformationDisplay with inclinometer, compass and outside temperature, cruise control, back-up camera, sonar backup warning sensors, bluetooth satellite radio, leather trimmedsteering wheel, a rear 115V/400W AC power outlet, rear wiper, and rear privacy glass on sides,quarter, and rear door windows, wheel locks, Trail Teams exterior badge, and UltimateEdition dash plaque. The front suspension on the TTUE has standard style 60 mm shocks but the 50 mm rear shocks are fitted with remote oil reservoirs for larger oil capacity to decrease damping fade when used in very rigorous situations. Toyota also employs larger, red TRD race coil springs in the front suspension to level out the front end of the Ultimate Edition for an improved approach angle. The Ultimate Edition has TRD's beadlock style 16" alloy wheels but in a new grey finish (the only Toyota model to use this specific wheel). These are wrapped with LT265/75R16 BFGoodrich AT tires.
