2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sport Utility 4-Door Description

This is the SR5 4WD model fully equipped with power windows/locks, sunroof, auto rear window, leather seats, heated seats, A/C and heating work great. Bought it one year ago from a dealer for $8,700. Never had any trouble having driven all over CA with it with my family, camping, etc. I realize it has lots of mileage (bought with 257,000, selling with 271,000) but, starting in 2003, 4 Runners were equipped with a timing chain, as opposed to a timing belt, which should last the life of the vehicle. I put new tires on 08/26/16 (have the receipt) and they are under a 65,000 mile warranty. Also put in a new battery. Changed oil every 3,000. It has a number of minor issues which I point out: volume control on the radio is faulty, though it can be made to work and sounds fine; puncture in driver's side seat, near door, not an issue in terms of comfort; once, the sunroof got stuck in the open position on me, eventually closed it but may need some lubrication or work on the motor; small crack on the rear roof spoiler tail light, not noticeable; hood needs a support to stay open, I provide a convenient and perfectly sized support.
Compare to other 4Runners on the market, the price is a great deal for what you get: a very reliable SUV.
