2007 Toyota Corolla CE Description

I am the original owner of this vehicle and it has a clear title. Following is a breakdown of known issues with the vehicle:
  • cracked rear bumper (see photographs).
  • interior lock does not work on driver's door (exterior lock functions so it can be locked with the key).
  • until the vehicle warms up, it sometimes grinds going up to 3rd gear and down to 2nd gear; once the vehicle warms up this no longer occurs. the gears will not grind at all if you drive it a bit gently until it warms up (don't slam it into third gear until it has been driven for around 15 minutes). I had the car in the shop for this problem and my mechanic said it's a problem with the synchros, which can only be repaired with a transmission rebuild or a new transmission. It has been like this for more than a year, and I simply drove it gently until it warmed up.
  • the airbag light sometimes stays on. this is a new issue and i have not had it looked into. there is a pending recall related to the airbag on this vehicle which may fix this problem.
  • some cigarette burns on upholstery; i was a cigarette smoker in this car until August of 2008 (see pic).
  • broken plastic on the antenna; the antenna still works.
  • some signs of wear on upholstery, including several tears in the back of the driver's seat (see pic).
  • dome light does not work; I used a tap light for years. I once had the light repaired but the repair did not last a week, which is why I put in a tap light.

The vehicle history report for this vehicle shows that it has never been in an accident, but there was a minor collision that caused damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel several years ago; that damage was repaired at a reputable body shop through our insurance.

Other than parts that normally need routine replacement such as batteries, tires, and brakes, most of the car is original with the following exceptions: Electronic Control Module (ECM) [it failed but was replaced for free as part of a recall], Clutch, Starter Motor.

The car shows signs of wear and age such as scratches and dings, but it has had all its oil changes on time and the engine is in excellent working condition. The floor mats are very worn, particularly the driver's mat. The A/C works perfectly. Please examine the pictures carefully and feel free to ask questions, I respond within 24 hours, always.

Please contact me via eBay messenger if you have questions.

The vehicle in the photos is the actual car for sale.
