Up for sale is a 1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ6, 4 speed manual transmission 4x4, with 133k original miles, Carfax Certified one owner since 1983. This is a rust free California truck since new, turn key truck ready to drive... located in Los Angeles California.
The exterior looks very nice, its a brown color that shines very nicel, it was repainted to its original color and looks beautiful, the underbelly is in great shape, with no rust or damages, it has the original suspension and has never been modified in any way, factory wheels shine nicely and the tires are at 50% all around.. all glasses are in good shape, all lights work in order, trims and moldings in good shape.. overall a very nice looking cruiser that gets thumbs up everywhere you drive..
The interior looks very nice for its age, seats and carpets are original and in good shape, headliner was redone new and looks great, non smoker owner, dash looks great with only one crac, all gauges work except for the oil gauge thats intermittent, AC has been retrofitted to the new system R134 and blows cold.. heater work, cd player works, overall a very clean and original retro looking interior ....
Mechanically in great shape.. The factory inline 6 cylinder motor starts right up and runs very smooth.. the carburetor has been rebuilt and regular service was done including belt, hose, oil change.. The battery is new, always runs at normal temperatures and drives great with lots of powe, it shifts great through all gears with no grinding or pop outs, the clutch is in great shape, truck drives very smooth and straight .. the 4x4 system has been used a couple times in its life and it still works fine.. its overall a very good running truck that is barely breaking in at 133k miles.. you can use it as a weekender or a daily driver .. its reliable enough to travel cross country.. its a Toyota... .
