1996 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo Hatchback 2-Door Description

This car has been my 'Baby' since 2002. I have had and enjoyed the uniqueness of Supra's over the years, with a MK2 and MK3, before this one.
The MK3 had 168,000 miles on it when I let it go - and was still immaculate.

I imported this one in in April 2002. It had 35,000 miles on the clock, with one previous Japanese owner.

This car is a completely original 1996 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo. No aftermarket modifications have been made to this car.

I have looked after her impeccably and she has never once let me down.

That's because I have always treated her well. I drive her sensibly and she pays me back with love. The car has never been raced.

She is simply beautiful and turns heads every day. The engine runs great.

Every two years I let my pal, who has a body shop, have her for 3 days and he cleans up any little scratches or marks and she comes out in showroom condition.

She was last done, two months ago.

Over the last few years, she has been driven very little. I am the MD of my own company and my offices are only 5 miles from my home.

Plus, I have another car and I rotate them, otherwise they get upset.

To give you an idea, the mileage in November 2010 on the MOT form, was 94,810 miles. That means, she has done, on average, 2,000 milesa year for the last 7 years.

I am parting with her very reluctantly, as I am into my 70th year now and, in a couple of months, moving house (after 29 years) to a small village in Cornwall. I don't feel she would be too happy - or feel at her best - struggling along little lanes and trying to avoid tractors and farming lorries.

It will be hugely emotional for me, to see my Baby go.

So, potential buyers please be aware. I will not sell this car to anyone who I feel is going to abuse her in any way. So, you have to sell yourself to me and convince me you will be giving her the new home she deserves. I will also ask you to keep me posted on how she's doing.

If you aren't prepared to do that, please don't bid on her. Because you won't get her.

Payment needs to be made within 7 days of the end of the auction. Buyer is responsible for all title, tax, regulatory and transfer fees. Buyer is also responsible for collection of the vehicle from this house and any shipping charges, if taking it overseas.
