LX450 / FJ80 TOYOTA SUPERCHARGER BEAUTIFUL, LIFTED AND LOADED
1997 Toyota Land Cruiser LX450 Description
Vehicle is a 1997 LX450. If you are not familiar, the only difference between the Lexus and the Toyota Landcruiser version of this vehicle is grille, headlights, badging, and upgraded interior. This truck has been my beauty queen for the past couple of years. She is a beautiful truck and in fantastic condition - has never been offroad and has been babied and cared for very well. The previous owner was also a Landcruiser fanatic. The interior, exterior and engine are all in great condition. I have receipts for all of the major work that has been done, including installation of the supercharger and replacement of the head gasket at the same time.
All oil changes have been done with synthetic "high mileage vehicle" fluid, and there are no oil or other fluid leaks. There was some finish rust on random parts of the undercarriage that has been touched up with POR15 (permanent fix). I think most Landcruiser "guys" would agree this LX450 is a fine specimen and one of the best LX450's/80's on the East Coast. Located in Virginia Beach, VA. Buyer will arrange and pay for shipping.
The supercharger was purchased new from a Toyota dealership and professionally installed in 2010, when the truck had 114K miles on it. This means the truck has been driven for about 50K supercharged miles.

Just had a tune-up
This is a 20 year old vehicle, and it does need a little TLC and does get driven. What needs work:
Needs a rear brake job
The driver side seat forward-backward gears need to be replaced
Has some scratches and dings
The wiper blades have some cosmetic rust, I may refinish them soon.
There is a rust spot under the passenger side body-cladding on the rocker panel. Rust is about 3"x3"- the integrity of the rocker panel is just fine. (see picture)
The rear brake distrobution block is badly rusted. It should be replaced when the rear brakes are done. It is NOT leaking and is NOT affecting the operation of the brakes.
The paint over the gutter trim is splitting. This is a common issue for FJ80's (see picture)Winch is not connectedNo factory lockers
