Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 80 photos carefully and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1997 Toyota RAV4 4WD with just 156k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this RAV4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is an exceptionally clean little truck. She is finished in white over black cloth interior, which matches the exterior trim. Pride in ownership shows throughout this RAV4. The white finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how exceptionally clean this little Toyota looks. I would also rate the interior of this RAV4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this Toyota. The door cards are clean and tight. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is also original and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The interior is surprisingly roomy for a small SUV. The cargo area is equally impressive. The cargo area is accessed through a swinging door with a low load height...which is nice. Mechanically, this RAV4 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.0L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The only bad thing I can say about this little RAV4 is that you can hear an exhaust leak up near the front. It isn't super loud...but you can definitely hear it. All in all, this is a rock solid little 4x4 that is reliable, economical and capable. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
