This handicap wheelchair van has the ATS Advantage Rear Entry – Long conversion. It has a 36 inch wide ramp, with an 86 inch long wheelchair channel, and the rear entry door height is 56 inches. The van comes equipped with one complete Q-straint wheelchair restraint system. Everything needed to transport one wheelchair is included in this sale. If you plan on transporting two wheelchairs, another set of tie-downs will be needed. The van has a manual, dual locking, nonskid, A.D.A compliant ramp with shock assist system that has 6.5 pounds of resistance. This manual system doesn’t use potentially unreliable electrical elements and rear entry alleviates the problem of finding a parking spot with room for a side-entry ramp. The ramp stows and deploys with ease and can be used by most anyone. This system will pass all taxi/medical transportation regulations for commercial use. All conversions have passed all the FMVSS crash tests and are A.D.A units. ATS has full crash test data and is one of the safest conversions.
