1991 Toyota Supra Mk3 2L Twin-Turbo - Targa Top - JDM Import - Free Ro-Ro Shipping!
This auction is for a 1991 Toyota Supra Mk3. The car is currently in Japan and is 100% legally importable in the US and Canada.
The final price of the auction will include FREE Ro-Ro shipping to any Ro-Ro capable port in North America or Europe! Everything is explained in detail in the "Shipping" section of the description. Other destinations than North America and Europe are possible but please contact us before to make sure it applies for the free shipping.
No reserve price set for this car... If it sells for 4200$, it will ship for this price. No extra fees on our side (you will however have to pay broker fees/port fees/taxes to import it in your country. More on that further down in the description.)
If you would like to talk about the car in person with me (or about any other JDM car you might be interested in buying), please call me at this number: +81-50-5806-2895
Please, leave a message if I don't answer. This is a landline and I'm not always near the phone. I would call you back as soon as possible.
Due to eBay policies, the VIN is listed as "11111111111111111" since it is not a US based VIN. The actual VIN of the car is GA70-0051387
DESCRIPTION:
230000km on the clock, this is an nice example of a daily driven yet well maintained Mk3 Surpa. It comes with the 2L Twin-turbo engine.
This car is in very good condition for its age and mileage. It is a Targa Top version, but the seals to prevent the roof from leaking have been sort of "custom made" (see pictures) and would need to be replaced with normal seals. No accident history or anything. The AC blows cold and works perfectly.
The car drives and shift very well. Please look at the video for more details on that. Tires are nice and fairly grippy with lots of life left.
Timing belt was changed 4 years ago when the car had 193974km.
Defects now: Right side mirror cover is gone. Not a part that should be very difficult to replace... As I explained, the targa top seals need to be replaced. That is all concerning the body of the car... no rust or anything.Interior now, the interior is in overall good condition, but anything made out of leather (shifter boot, steering wheel and handbrake boot) have not aged well and ideally, would need to be rehupholstered. The dash has a couple cracks and the driver-side door panel has been repaired a little on the top right corner.

(with eBay banning the use of embedded youtube videos in the descriptions, I can only post the link... Walk around starts at 16min30. Everything else is just test drive in the Japanese mountains)

SHIPPING:
As mentioned in the title, the final auction price will include FREE Ro-Ro shipping to any Ro-Ro capable port in the US, Canada or Europe. Other destinations are also available, but please contact me beforehand to make sure it applies to the free shipping.
The car is currently in Japan and will ship from the port of Kobe.
If you don't know Ro-Ro shipping, it's simply the most common way to ship cars around the world. Special ships are used for this, converted into gigantic floating parking lots filled with cars. Not all ports can receive and accept Ro-Ro, but most do. If you are not sure if your local port accepts it, just contact me and I will look into it for you.
You will have to import the car yourself in your country. It is easily importable in the US and Canada, though people living in California might have problems registering it due to state laws being a lot more strigent than elsewhere in the country. No problem for any other state. If you live in Europe or anywhere else, please check before bidding that the car is fully importable, as your country might have different restrictions for imports based on how old the car is. I know it is no problem in countries like Holland, Germany, or the UK, but it's still better to check before doing anything as I don't know all the import regulations of all the countries.
Overall, we are not responsible for the importation in your country, but we'll be happy to help if needed. We are very much used to ship cars to the US and we are very familiar with the import process there.
Paperwork of the car (original title, bill of sale, certificate of exportation...etc) along with the Bill of Lading (paper needed to take delivery of the car at your local port) will be shipped to you via express mail, 1 week to 10 days after the ship leaves Japan. This is standard procedure, the Bill of Lading is only created by the shipping company around this time.
Obviously your port may charge you extra fees for unloading the vehicle and you will have to pay import taxes. On the other hand, all the costs associated with the car leaving Japan are included in the final auction price. If you're in the US, expect to pay around $300 in broker fees and about just as much again in other taxes/fees. So $600 or so for the car to be ready to register at your local DMV. Keep in mind it's just an estimate, but that's about it.
PAYMENT:
A $500 paypal deposit is required within 48-hours of the end of the auction. The rest of the payment will be made via bank transfert to Amagasaki Motor.

ABOUT US:
We've been in the automotive industry for over 85 years and a few generations in Kobe's area in Japan (Amagasaki to be precise). For about a year we started branching out from our "Skaken" (Japanese car inspection) and regular car repair business and started working as a dealership. A few months ago, we decided to start exporting cars outside of the country, working either with importers or private party.
And now... LOTS of pictures!
