This is a used 1997 Toyota 4runner in great condition, no smoking or pets. The life of this vehicle thus far has been in the Sacramento, California region and so it has very little rust at all. I've only ran Chevron techron premium in it and oil changes every 3-3500k miles religiously. She's been serviced regularly. This 4runner has some after market customization (headlights, tailights, bugshield & American Outlaw Buckshot premium wheels) including a lift to support running the MT 33's. The red top Optima battery is a year old and so fairly new. This 4runner has been great and has always been 100% reliable. The only reason I'm parting with this beauty is that I can't keep two vehicles anymore. I will continue to drive this 4runner alternating between my other vehicle to keep it moving and not sitting and so the odometer reading may go up, but very little from the time of this auction start. There is a free report on here that shows you the clean history for this 4runner.If you have any questions at all feel free to ask via this auction.
I just replaced the passenger side axle rather than having the torn boot replaced(you can have the spare axle and reboot it as a spare if you want it).
The digital clock is intermittent on and off(3rd gen known issue with these clocks, sometimes it's on other times it's not).
No antenna
It is wired for a PREMIUM sound system (you can see the heavy duty wiring in the back in one of the photo's).
The current Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo works, however, the gear retracting it back in is not functioning.
This is also equipped with a clifford alarm system (17yo), however, it is currently running in valet mode as the receiver wire & 4 pin plug need replaced (very easy fix actually if you are good at creating a wire from the antenna down under the steering wheel console area where the brain of the alarm is. Honestly it would probably be worth putting a later model alarm in since parts are scarce for this 17 year old alarm.
There is only one very slight fraying area on the drivers seat (shown in photo) the rest of the upholstery/carpetis immaculate as shown in the photos here.
There are a few dings, one back on the rear drivers side quarter panel near the tail light (shown in photo) hard to see unless you are looking at a certain angle, also in the chrome bumper in a few places (also shown in photo's) and there is a very slight crease in the rear lift gate also shown in the photo and not that noticeable. There are paint chips on the front and a few around the vehicle but nothing abnormal for 20 year old paint. I will include the Dr. Chip color match paint that I purchased to touch up all the chips. This has the original rear carpet mat and pull out top cover for hiding things.
