toyota carolla
2010 Toyota Corolla Base (lowest) Description
I am selling my 2010 Toyota Corolla. It has brand new front Toyota brakes on it (April 2017)It was last serviced in April 2017. It is due for it's 90,000 mile service. The car actually has slightly UNDER 91,000 miles on it, but by the time it sells it might hit 91,000 and I wanted to be honest.
On 12/12/2016 I put a new tire on the car. I'm not sure which tire but the receipt says R2
Engine Type: 1.8L 4-cyl L DOHC (MFI)Style: 4 Door SedanVehicle Type: passenger carSafety: Dual Air Bag, Seat Belts, Side Air Bag - 1st row, Curtain Shield Air Bag- all rowsEngine Code: U4Transmission: 4 speed automatic/ U341E
The car has never been in an accident. I have the CARFAX report.
Heat and A/C work great.
This would be a great commuter car for a high school or college student. Also a great car for local day to day driving.
Here are the minor issues I'm having with the car that have been since I bought it in October 2016. They haven't impacted me in anyway, but I wish the person who sold it to me had disclosed them so I'm going to disclose them here:
1. The radio works fine, but when the weather changes and it's too hot or too cold, the radio disply doesn't show. It's been doing this since I got the car. Toyota can't fix it without replacing radio. Again, the radio works fine, even when the display doesn't show up.
2. When the weather changes to extreme cold or heat, the car makes a noise when you start it. Toyota could not find the source of the problem and said everything is great with the engine. It doesn't make the sound often enough, only when the weather first changes. The car has always started and I drive it every day with my two young kids. It's just odd and I want to disclose it.
The front bumper needs to be tightened and the tire well needs to be secured. I've been driving the car with these things, but I haven't put the car through a car wash. Toyota could fix both things. One just needs a screw. Right now I have it clipped.
The front side of the car has some scrape marks. It's shown in the photo. It's just cosmetic.
There is a little hole in the driver side seat almost like someone smoked and put a cig. out. It's a strange little hole, but isn't anything major.
I am selling the car because I drive my kids up and down the NJ Turnpike 2-3 times a month from Exit 4 to Jersey City and I would like a larger car for the very intense Turnpike commute. If I didn't have to do that NJTP trip, I'd just keep the car. To me it feels like it's going to last a long time and it's nice to not have a car payment on such a reliable car brand.
The car is sold as is, but it's lower than the Kelly Blue Book value (with a rating of Good) of $6,447 (range of $6,008 - $7,460) so you can spend that extra savings to have Toyota secure the bumper and do the 90,000 service if you'd like.
Payment by cash or TD Bank cashier's check only (I will need to meet you at the bank to verify cashier's check is valid or you can transfer cash into my TD account). I will meet you at the bank to do the trade. I am sorry, but I've been scammed before. There is a TD bank in my town as well as one close by. Thank you for your understanding. You must come to my town to pick up the car on a week day please. I will work with you on dates and times. Again, it has to be during TD bank business hours.
I can try to answer any questions you might have about the car through my email. I am a single mother so it does take me sometimes 24 hours to respond to email. I am sorry!
