I have become disabled, and I find it difficult to get in and out of the car any more. So, sadly, I have decided to sell my beautiful 2001 Toyota Solara convertible.I bought this car from its original owner in 2003 with about 35,000 miles on the clock. Today, the odometer reads 56,737. The car has always been pampered, garaged, and driven very little. The year after I bought it, I was forced off the road by a drunk driver and damaged the driver's side of the car. The repairs were done at the Toyota body shop, and they did a superb job. You would never know it had been repaired. The Solara is not a sports car, but it has a peppy engine and is fun to drive. Of course, you also get the famous Toyota reliability, which is outstanding in this model. I've never had a problem with it. The seats are leather and very comfortable. This car is a joy to take on a trip. The back seat is like a big leather sofa - with lots of leg room. The convertible top is original and works perfectly - as does everything else on the car.
