1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Description

This is a very nice Volkswagen diesel pickup that looks good and is fun to drive. It has 176,986 miles but has had a recent engine rebuild and new diesel pump. I think it is good for many more thousands of miles. It has a 4 speed transmission and is geared pretty low so it works best around town as a commuter vehicle but will run 65 on the highway. The pickup is mostly original with some minor repairs to interior. The tires are good as are the brakes, emergency brake,and electronics. It starts all year around (has pre heater and engine 120 volt heater) and runs and drives very good. Its alot of fun to drive and troublefree. The fuel gauge does not read correctly so the fuel fill time is around 500 miles! At over 40 miles per gallon it will go for 600 miles on a tank! It is pretty basic transportation and requires very little to own .It is not new and does have some nicks and scratches. I have found that it pays for itself and more over driving my Duramax to work. Need to sell to pay for a bad diesel engine in my motorhome. Shipping will be the responsibility of buyer but I will help arrange.
