2003 Volkswagen Golf Gti Description

Hi I am selling my 2003 Volkswagen Golf Gti 1.8 t coupe the car is still on the road and it is my daily driver for now. The car is not mint and does need work. I will start with what has been recently done on the car. A year and a half ago I had the tranny changed for a low mileage one with 70,000 miles on it at the time along with a new clutch kit. The car shifts perfectly no problems, the alternator, starter, fan, coolant, the fuse box that sits on top of the battery along withthe power wire that goes from the battery to the ground has been replaced, the battery, theclimate control module, the front shocks and springs, the rear has coilovers with an inch dropped it sits nice and with some suspension work itwill handle nice as well. It has a forge blow off valve sound nice and you could hear the turbo spool at high rpm's it has a k and n air filter, the front and rear pads and rotors and the fuel pump. The leather seats are in good condition with the exception of the lower driver seat the material came apart and could be sewn or fixed by a professional. The alarm does work the sunroof has no issues the exterior lights all work fine.There are currently no check engine lights on in the car.

The car needs an alignment, two front axels and two tires, I bought them 8 months ago but they are wearing on the inside wall.

The car needs a new hood and hinges it is bent in many different places. The hood opens and closes fine.

The car has rust on the drivers side quarter panel and on the roof on the passenger side above the windshield.

The car was recently lightly hit on the drivers side lower quarter panel and could use some work the rear bumper has scratches

The car has some scratches but one bad one in particular on the passenger side quarter panel and hatch the pass side door has three little dents paint is good could be removed easily please see pics.

The interior is clean but does need a little tlc the driver seat leather needs to be sewn, the driver side interior door handle needs to be replaced the door opens and closes fine and the locks work.

The air conditioner does work but it does have a problem with the compressor when there is Freon in the system it stays on so there is no Freon in the system at the moment.

The car has an oil leak I am guessing it is a problem wit the oil pan or seal perhaps.

Power door locks are not working. Glove box needs to be fixed or replaced, interior dome light does not work no sure why and the turn signal switch works on the left turn signal but you have to hold the right side in order to work needs some contact spray typical vw issue.

Passenger side window doesn't work I am not sure why. Vw emblem on the front grille was stolen. I am missing the rear cargo cover.

The car needs light mechanic work with a few hundred invested it will drive great. It mostly needs cosmetic work if you are looking to make the car mint again.
