2000 Red & Black Volkswagen New Beetle 4-Cylinder FWD Hatchback 2-Door
This vehicle is pre-owned. The engine runs with no issues, though there are several cosmetic alterations and some minor issues. For instance, the radio antenna on the top of the car is duck-taped back onto the car, but gets zero reception even for the strongest signal. The previous owner also put studs along the back of the car flanking the radio antenna. The inside of the driver's door has a screw to keep the door lock and latch from popping open when the door is opened. The compartment in the roof for sunglasses also has no buttons and the compartment does not open. In addition, there are a pair of subwoofers from the previous owner that are not hooked up to the amp and are not tested at this time.
The center console also has some cracking due to poor treatment. The glove compartment has a broken latch; to avoid damaging anything in the car, we did not force it open. One of the headlights does not have a low-beam when the lights are turned on. Turn signals, brake lights, and high beams are all in working order but the low setting for the headlights does not wrok in the left side. In addition, the previous owner attempted to spray-paint what looks like eyelids onto the headlights.
There is a 7-inch folding DVD player in the place of the factory radio that works with no issues.
