1996 Volkswagen Passat SEDAN Description

Classic 1996 VW Passat TDII am selling my 96 Passat TDI (B4), at just over 500K. (Pre-dieselgate diesel) It has been a solid car and my daily driver for the last 18 years. It still runs strong and has no codes, and has many new parts. It has lasted this long and will probably last a lot longer. The thing is a tank! But, I am ready for something new.
Here is a synopsis of its current condition as I know it:
- A little rust on the body and underside, although the frame is solid, and some of the body was recently restored, including repaint and clearcoat. See the pictures. Front fenders are new. AC does not work. Parking brake cable outer sleeve worn through at the hanger, passenger side. I have a new cable, just haven't put it on. I will include it with this vehicle. The fuel gage perpetually indicates well above full. I've been using the trip odometer to keep track based on my knowledge of consistent average 46.5 mpg (winter mileage, its better in summer). So I usually start looking for a fuel station when the trip odometer hits 700 miles. Steering wheel is crooked, makes it look out of alignment. It isn't, but I could not provide enough counter-torque when torqueing the steering wheel nut after replacing the wiper switch. Passenger side rear window doesn't open (probably a broken wire, typical of VW). Has wear appropriate for its age and mileage. Has some very minor oil and coolant leaks, and could use some brake work. The engine bay picture is with the engine cover removed, but it is available and will be included.
Good rims with fairly new tires on them, approximately 10K on them, plus a set of snow tires with about 20K on them, currently in storage at my tire installer's shop. I will include these as well.
-Passed NH state safety inspection in April.
-Never been in an accident.
-has a Frostheater installed (the type that heats up the coolant - plug it in on cold nights, and it starts up in the morning like it is summer!)
-It has had a power upgrade (larger fuel injector nozzles, PP520's)
-I will include the Bentley maintenance manual as well.
This car is being sold as-is. I am setting this up for local pick-up only, but a buyer could arrange for shipping if that is desired.
