2005 Volkswagen Beetle-New Description

2005 VW Beetle Convertible with "No Reserve", I bought this car for my mother 13 months ago from a dealer in Tampa called Luxor Motors with 55,400 miles, the car as of today now has 64,280 actual miles. The front discbrakes were replaced a few months ago, the oil was changed with Synthetic Pennzoil and the radiator was flushed, also the tires were replaced approx.8 or9 months ago. The exterior is silver and was garage kept, the interior is gray and in good condition with the original black convertible top. The car was driven down to Key West 3 times in the last 30 days which is over 2,400 miles roundtrip all 3 times combined and No issues at all. The power top goes up and down as expected and there are no leaks, the driver side headlight lens is a bit foggy now but can be cleaned, the passenger headlight lens looks perfect.

What's not perfect on this car that I am aware of, the glove boxhandle is missing it was that way when I purchased the car, they said at the dealer that the Beetles are notorious for that happening and there is a kit on eBay you can buy that is supposedly better than the factory glove box handle. The trunk has also never been opened since owning this car, the switch which is on the driver door needs replaced, I don't remember the exact price so you can call a VW dealer and ask but it seems they said the fix would cost $150 plus an hour labor if I remember correctly, also1 of the4 AC vents does not blow out any cold air, 3 of the AC vents work fine but the one in the center of the dash needs the hose popped back on underneath the dash panel, we live in95 degree daily temps and have never even noticed it, but I just want to note everything that is not working to describe this car accurately. On 4-21-16 the car was taken in for an inspection at Tires Plus and they checked the battery, alternator and all the connections and everything passed perfectly, also I have the receipt stating that everything they checked is fine, rather than making everything perfect the car is for sale as-is at a much lower price.

Great little car on gas thanks to the automatic transmission, around town its averaging 19 mpg and on the highway 28 mpg.
