2008 volkswagen Eos convertible

Up for auction is a2008 Volkswagen EOS Convertible. This car isUSED.

ITEM: This is a2008 VW EOS convertible 2.0 turbo. I bought the car used from Curran Volkswagen in Connecticut and have meticulously maintained thevehicle for thepast 2 and a half years. We have stored this car in a garage for each of the winters we owned it; it was NOT driven in the winter! This car has a Volkswagen Premier extended warranty which I purchased from the dealer. It is the best coverage available on this car and it lasts until 8/22/2017 or 117,000 miles.

Features: I'll include a picture of the window sticker that lists the equipment package, but the car comes equipped with power windows, air conditioning and a huge power sunroof. With a just push of a button the roof retracts and stores in the trunk! I believe a hardtop convertible is so much better than a ragtop; it makes the vehicle practical and comfortable in any kind of weather.

Extras: This car has a remote start, and I've also had a Sirius satellite radio unit professionally installed. I'll include the plug & play unit with the car and the buyer can subscribe with just a phone call.

Condition: I consider this vehicle to be in very good condition. There are some normal signs of use, but no signs of abuse. There is no major damage to the interior or exterior. There are three small 'door dings'; one on the drivers and two on the passenger side. I've tried to show this in the pictures. No paint is chipped. There is one scratch on the rear bumper (2 inches) and two very small chips in the paint on the lower front grille. The car comes with a windscreen which mounts over the rear seats and is stored in a separate bag. I've only used it once but it certainly helped keep the cabin calm and quieter at highway speeds. The car could use new wipers and perhaps an oil change. It's not over the miles but it's last falls oil. I'll be glad to schedule those maintenance items for the winning bidder if so desired, costs to be reimbursed with receipts available upon delivery. The front tires are 75% and the rears are 50%. I have an extra tire (60% tread) that I'll include with the car. I'll add a link to watch a video of the top in operation as soon as I can.

WHY I'M SELLING: This is our third card and we just don't use it. With four kids, the six seaters get all the use so this one has to go! My wife drove it in nice weather as a fun alternative to our minivan but our budget no longer allows for a 'luxury' vehicle.

AUCTION: I'll start my auction at 99 cents but I do have a reserve. I do not end my listings early but you can use the buy-it-now. I've factored the value of the warranty into the reserve price, which is the same as the buy it now. If that price isn't met I can cancel the warranty (and get a refund of the value from VW), and then relist it for less. But in my opinion the warranty is what makes this vehicle a safe purchase.

PICKUP: Local pickup in Jeffersonville, NY. I can arrange to havethe vehicleavailable for shipping at your cost. If you are not going to pick up the item, you will need to make payment in full before I will release the vehicle. I will transfer the vehicle and the title when funds are fully cleared. Once the reserve is met or the listing ends I will request the title and warranty transfer info from VW. This should take no more than 5-7 business days to complete.

PAYMENT: I will accept cash at pickup. You can pay by check but I will not release thevehicle until my bank has verified the funds havecleared. Finally, you can pay with Paypal but I will add 3% to cover the fees charged by Paypal. Please contact me prior to payment.
