1985 diesel Jetta, 5 speed, 2 door wolfsburg edition. Sunroof and Leather seats.
1.6L IDI diesel engine.
CD player with 6x9 pioneer speakers under the rear glass, tweeters under the dash.
Solid roof rack, easy to take on and off.
Starts and runs fine, daily driver. Avg. of 40 MPG in the mountains of WV
Only superficial rust on the frame and very little on the body.
There is a dent/scratch on the passenger door and one on the passenger rear quarter panel.
The military green paint on this car is faded and has peeled off in a few places on the hood as you can see in the pictures.
The hand crank sunroof opens and closes fine, the seals should be replaced.
Lots of new parts and repairs.
Front and rear struts, and axles. Brake proportioning valve, master cylinder, starter, water pump, radiator.
Timing Belt and tensioner pulley replaced at 120,000
Injectors replaced at 140,000.
Most Jetta's from this era have either rusted out or have a million miles on them, this is a rare find.
