Great little find! Turbo is out and part is around $450-600, depends on which ever manufacturer you choose. As for labor I am not sure on that cost. The Bug does start and run with no problems. The tires will need to be replaced soon because of not being used enough. I actually drove it home 20miles from the seller’s home. A/C runs cool and sunroof functions. Radio does not work. he engine was rebuilt and now has 159,000 miles. The interior is leather, so with age and wear the front seats have the open seams on sides, from sliding in and out of vehicle. This car is definitely that a Beetle Lover would love to have. If you don’t love beetles then I would have to advise that this will be a project for some or a hobby for others. My intentions were to make it a little hobby with a great dependable car in the end. But time and money have not been on my side to take this on with it being a second fun car.
