2002 Volkswagen Cabrio GLX Convertible 2-Door Description

Last year for the Cabrio. I have had it for years. Spent the entire winter Refreshing the suspension and upgrading the entire car. The Body has had side markers and antenna hole removed. Antenna has been relocated to rain tray. Reception isnt the greatest..Who cares..looks better! All the rust was blasted, cut out and removed and new metal installed. The car was completely sanded, sealed, primed and repainted the factory black.I had 3 coats of clear added.The car has all badges removed except for the grill. Has vw motorsports badges now.The plastic headlamps were replaced with glass units.The car has dark smoked tails. Smoked side markers. The top is canvas and is brand new, not a cheap junk top. I have a tan top boot also. The engine is a 2.0ltr. It has an injen cold air intake, the SAI has been deleted and the pcm was flashed for this delete Emissions delete except for 02. No check engine light! This was done by reflecttunning.com .Idle raised to 860 from 840 for better response .Car requires high test fuel. New plugs, wires, cap and rotor. New alternator and starter and battery. The Car sits on bilsteins and neuspeed springs these are a few years old. Sits and handles awesome.The brakes are powerstop cross drilled and vented rotors front and rear with carbon fiber pads, calipers are also new. This thing stops on a dime now! Other suspension components were replaced over the past few years. The car has a new bosal hi flow cat, resonator and stainless exhaust. It is throaty..The leather interior is an 8 outa 10. The drivers seat does show a bit of wear. No tears. The car has has black trim replacing some of the tan for a 2 tone look.Beetle headrests, JVC headunit, all new speakers, wired for subs, blue leds under dash. The gauge cluster is a silver face orange needle cluster from a jette GT that has been fitted with the cabrio blue cluster lamps. There is much more. The car runs and shifts perfect. No trans issues of any kind, rides good, run good.The power top does not work .It sprung a leak in a line in the trunk. Never bothered me. Manual was always faster.It is repairable .The cruise works on and off at times..The does need charged. It was recovered when i had condensor out. Just never recharged it..its a drop top..wasnt a priority. Has a lug stud conversion..no more stupid vw lug studs..The Pinifirina wheels are not for sale or included. The car is sold with its OEM alloy wheels with newer tires.THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS NO WARRANTY . I tried to be as informative as possible on its condition. This car is one of a kind and has been to numerous shows. The reserve is set at way less than the investment. I can provide more pictures of bodywork. Also the windows have brand new 35% window tint. Keep in mind it is not a new car and may have things i am not aware of at this time that may need addressed.
