Bagged 2010 Volkswagen GTI on Airlift/Accuair/Viair Airride
2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI Description
Up for sale is my GTI on Airride. Truly a fun car with some tasteful mods. The airride system is composed of a few different manufacturers, for a custom system that works flawlessly and has never given an issue. The actual suspension components are from Airlift Performance. The management of the air and the controller are both by Accuair. The pump, tank, and analog psi gauges are from Viair. The reason for this three way split is to get the best of all three to build a superb system, which it is. The install was done by a shop in Wisconsin.
OTHER MODIFICATIONS:Other than the suspension, there are a few other smaller but very notable modifications. An Integrated Engineering oil catch can kit has been installed with a new pcv plate. A Forge007 Blow Off Valve has been added as well, which sounds and performs flawlessly. It has a Injen Cold Air Intake piped straight to the turbo. Audi R8 coil packs installed and function much better than stock. The car also has a United Motorsports Stage2 tune with 4k RPM launch control set up already. It has a Pioneer x4800bs headunit stereo and a Pioneer 900W amp with a Kenwood 12" subwoofer. Also has brand new 15% tint all the way around, except for windshield which has a 5% brow across the top. Has new boost gauge mounted on steering column. Also, it has a Eurojet catback exhaust which sounds amazing and is not loud and does not have highway drone. The taillights are from ESC Tuning and are the Dark Cherry European style.
SPARE PARTS:The car will come with spare parts including the stock intake with a good spectre filter on it. It will also come with the stock gti front grill, which i swapped out to get rid of the red stripe.
ISSUES:The only issues with the car are:-I believe the radio antenna came unplugged from rear of stereo, but bluetooth will still connect, just no FM Radio unless you plug the antenna cable in. Just happened within the last week.-The rear seats were removed at one time and the two side seatbelts were never reinstalled.-headliner does not droop, but it has some glue residue in spots, nothing serious at all.-Small dime sized paint chip on back of front bumper driver side
OVERALL:The car overall drives and shifts completely great. Nothing is mechanically wrong with this car, and the issues with it cosmetically are very minor. I am only selling this car because one of my many dream cars, a 1963 Beetle in great condition, has just become available to me from a friend, as well as a daily, so unfortunately the GTI has to go. Whoever buys this car, You will love the stares you get when you drop it to the ground when you park. It always puts a smile on my face! It is on stock 18" Detroit rims with plenty of tread on the fronts, the rears could use replaced in less than 6 months due to the slight camber. Anyway, once you have your own style of rim on the car, it will be show ready, even though it is already. There are also NO holes drilled in the front bumper for a license plate.
