2004 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible

This 2004 VW New Beetle GL Convertible is in good condition, and it runs and drives FANTASTIC. It has just 78,854 original miles on it, and it is Ready To Roll!

This is not a show car, and it is not in perfect condition. It IS nice overall, with a few cosmetic flaws. If you can live with those, this is a great opportunity to own a VW Beetle convertible at a very nice price.

Exterior features include alloy wheels and fog lamps.

The exterior in very good shape overall - no significant dents or dings and the
paint shines all around. There is a scuff mark at the left front corner.

The convertible top works perfectly.

The top has no holes or tears.

There are no holes or tears in the seats, and they aren't showing any appreciable wear.

This VW has low miles, but is a 2003 year vehicle. Volkswagen's interior trim pieces tend to show age before the rest of the car, and this Beetle is no exception. The driver's plastic door grab handle has been re-attached. We are going to do the same with the passenger side, so it will be functional.

This Beetle comes with power windows, mirrors and locks; remote entry; cold air conditioning; cruise control, tilt and telescopic wheel, Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo and more.

Again, some wear and tear showing on the dash and console trim pieces, typical of this
generation Beetle.

The TipTronic automatic transmission can be shifted manually if you choose.

The manual is with the car.

The trunk has usable cargo space, and there is a pass-thru to the rear seat.

The 2.0 liter motor runs GREAT. It's responsive and just plain fun to drive. It also gets very good fuel mileage,rated at 24/30 mpg.

The Continental tires have very good tread all the way around.

This car has 78,854 actual miles on it. It could be driven, so mileage might be a little higher by the time the auction is over.

We are a licensed and bonded auto dealer in Florida.

Please read my description and all other information completely and view all the pictures carefully before you bid on this auction to ensure you are knowledgeable about the vehicle you are bidding on. The vehicle description above is for informational and narrative purposes only. We occasionally buy our cars from new car dealers, and in rare cases the dealer has to make a payoff to a finance company and wait for the title, which could be delayed up to 15 days. We are a dealer, and all vehicles are for sale to the public. We therefore reserve the right to cancel all bids and end the auction early if the vehicle is sold. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back.

Venue for any legal action such as claims, motions, litigation, settlements, or any legal action associated with this sale from either the buyer or seller is to take place in the State of Florida in Broward County. Payment and Fees

We will add a $395 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee.

If you are seeking financing, please be sure to hold off on your bid until your funding has been approved. I DO NOT ACCEPT BANK DRAFTS OF ANY KIND. You are responsible for your own finance arrangements so please take care of them before bidding.
You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. If you are the winner, a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up. Final payment is expected within 72 hours (3 days) of auction's end. If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid

If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay Florida's 6% sales tax and registration fees.

If you are not a Florida resident, and you are are driving the vehicle away from our lot, you will be required to pay your state's sales tax up to 6%. If your state's sales tax is more than 6%, you will be required to pay the difference in your home state. If your state has no sales tax on motor vehicles, we will not charge you any sales tax. If you have the vehicle shipped, we will not charge you any sales tax (however, you will have to pay your state's tax at home).
